Comment:
During my casette mix making era, "Revisions" and "Versions" (the 2nd tape mix list which I've also added to the site) were my grand opuses. Took me months! The whole idea was to have a set of original versions on side 1 playing A - B and then the cover versions running B - A on side 2. That way, one could flip the tape at any point to hear the other version. But the trick was to arrange the songs in such a way that the song lengths corresponded, while also allowing for an enjoyable playing order, and also fitting into a 45 minute side. I was totally obsessed with this project and I'm glad to have a place to share that obsession.
Feedback:
this is quite a task & project to take on, but you did a hell of a job with it, actually. lots of great song picks, & you can tell this was carefully planned out. nice job
Great concept. I like both of your mixes posted, this one a tad more. Welcome to the site, and keep up the unhealthy obsession!
Wow. Pretty astounding project, if you could actually get it to work.
Try that with a brush and roller!
Hear, hear!
