Comment:

During my casette mix making era, "Versions" and "Revisions" (the 1st tape mix list I added to the site) were my grand opuses. Took me months! The whole idea was to have a set of original versions on side 1 playing A - B and then the cover versions running B - A on side 2. That way, one could flip the tape at any point to hear the other version. But the trick was to arrange the songs in such a way that the song lengths corresponded, while also allowing for an enjoyable playing order, and also fitting into a 45 minute side. I was totally obsessed with this project and I'm glad to have a place to share that obsession.
