Comment:
Walking Wounded: People experiencing problems, especially psychological or emotional ones. Suffering from nervousness, depression, hurting inside, bullying, work bullying, work stress, obsessive thoughts, mental conditions, unemployment, rape, sexual abuse, serious or terminal illness.Saturday: Arguably, the day of the most sinning. Can we get some atonement up in here?
Come To Daddy: Could be a sexy or a pervy invite; "Welcome to the Fatherland" or even reference to heed the Holy Father.
Swedish Summernights: Was Sweden's position neutral or sympathiser? Discuss.
High Heel Jesus: The title suggests a "made up" higher power and at the
end of the poem, the man sacrifices his old lady for the rent money. Dollar-dollar bill, y'all!!!
Any Reality Is An Opinion/Dr. Leary: Researcher abuses his title and neglects his position
for what "felt good". How many have since tuned in, turned on and well, you know.
Team America: Things are inevitably going to change. Wishful thinking?
April 20: Brought tracks #01,03,05,06,10,13 to the table and Corpus Hypercubus for cover art.
ZoT: Brought tracks #02,04,07,08,09,11,12 to the table and the art of blending.
Special thanks to DJ Karen Adams for the Daft Punk/Queen mash-up, cover art and page proofing.
"And woe to the children who have been exiled from the father's table"
Feedback:
My favorite Uncle Tim story was from his years as an undergraduate. Seems Tim was working at a mental institution with some die-hard B F Skinner types, and they were discussing the patients that were having full blown hallucinations, both auditory and visual. The Skinner group (of the infamous Behavioral Modification school) were sitting at an employee break area discussing what to do with this troublesome folks. One of them said that he found that when he limited their access to foods, that the discussion of the hallucinations dropped off, and that if permission was granted, he'd withhold all foods until the halluncinations stopped.Tim, who was beginning to wonder if an hallucination was a totally bad thing, what with the various visions of many potent and positive thoughts, pointed out that if they withheld enough, the patient would simply starve to death, and thus the hallucinations would end permanently. He then began to wonder if modern psycology had any validity at all.For what it is worth...
Oh, and after my own wee silliness From Shadows there is a little bit from Team America, too, just for grins and giggles.
After my visions clear, I will think more about this.
Christ (indeed), this is crazy. But I like it. I think. Or does it scare me? Hmmm.
e-dank jr, April 20, Tom Waits & Aphex Twin, together at last...
well i dont know what happened but its "Ever little thing she does is magic"
