Comment:

I made this for my younger sister. She's 16 and listens to Good Charlotte, Avril Lavigne, etc., but expressed an interest in other punky music, so I made her this mix. I was trying to give her some roots-of-punk songs from the bands that've likely influenced her current idols, and I also wanted to devote a good portion to empowering, intelligent female vocalists as an opposing force to pop rock's overwhelming amount of boy singers and girls singing about boys. & just for good measure, I threw in some of the songs that inspired my own rebellious leanings during my teenage years. Overall, I think it does the job.

nice introduction to rebellion, I must say. I'm always down for some Sex Pistols, Bad Religion, and Misfits. I would have chosen "attitude" or "bullet" for the misfits pick...all around, a tight mix.
