Wow, I haven't submitted a mix here in a long, long time. I was just looking over the past mixes I've made, and marveling at the hilarity of my TITLES for the things! A little embarassing perhaps, but also a good summation of my high school experience.

Anyways, this is a mix for a friend who seems to have heard everything. But, I knew that as far as Krautrock goes, he'd only listened to Can and a little Faust, who I love, but I think pale in comparison to Neu! and Cluster. He's also got an immature sense of humor (so do I, I guess, or I wouldn't own these albums!), so that explains the inclusion of the Frogs and Cassetteboy. I also wanted to throw on a few old favorites that I knew he'd recognize (Beatles and Suzanne), just so it wasn't nonstop new material. And of course, I always resort to my old trick of including a full song and also an alternate, shorter version of the same song (Broadcast's I Found the F and I Found the End).

It's good to be back at Art Of the Mix! Whoa, we can submit downloadable songs now? ;)
