Some fine selections here and some that I'm not familiar with that I suspect are equally fine. Excellent work.

As always, DJ Karen mixes up the best brews - there's noone better to blend your eye of newt and Bauhaus covers! Oh, and Mr. Conroy. You're right as always, but the $64 question is which of us is very, very cool and which of us is very, very cute?

XYZ:A nice mix of classics and favourites along with some rare and beat-off off-beat selections for good measure.

Bowie into Elfman into Zevon? Black Magic Woman into Ted Leo? This looks - and as I'm typing this, sounds - excellent!

Although some classics were used, I hope y'all agree that the good ones (Santana, Warren Zevon, Donovan, etc.) are presented here. If you are looking for Boris Pickett's Monster Mash, Alvin & the Chipmunks' "Witchdoctor", Mijac's "Thriller" or that dreaded "Time Warp" song from The Rocky Horror Call & Response Picture Show you clicked the wrong link. Sorry, all of the songs mentioned in this rant were/are good songs; they also are overplayed and easy-to-access so they do not appear here. Hopefully, this is a stand-out mix album that can be used as a companion to your all-time favourites as well. Fair enough? Pass the fookin' candy corn

Wicked, as we say in England. I do miss candy corn from my days in Texas.

Happy Hallowe'en you cool little cuties. This mix is a graveyard smash! I'm gonna burn a few copies of this & dish them out to any youngsters who come-a-knockin' on my door tonight..

I have received a couple of emails asking where the Donovan/Season of the Witch track is. Is it that inaudible? Can anyone spot where it is? First mixer to locate "Season of the Witch" in this mix and describe what I'm doing with the song receives a physical (hard) copy complete with sexy artwork.
Muzag:
Sounds amazing, if I can say so, especially thru headphones in a dark room. Try it!

You may indeed say so, it does sound amazing...especially with darkroomheadphones! Mr Leitch, he only gets to utter his first line over and over - like a creature possessed, just looking out of his window - whilst the story of Handsome Abby is narrated.

I had this mix cranked up yesterday evening and not one kid dared to come to the house. Thanks guys! Now I can eat all that Halloween candy myself. It definitely served me well!

This non-stop mix also plays out like a Halloween radio programme; the stories of Rival Witches and The Headless Horseman are well placed.

tornadoZ:Late? Don't worry, we're just happy to have you here. And truthfully, this is a hallowe'en mix but then again it is not. With the exception of the songs marked "Hallowe'en", this mix is very goth which makes it perfect for ANY day of the year!

And thanks to everyone for their kind words.
