So we're having a cocktail party in early December. I've made 3 CD's to play through the night with the "arc" inspired by 3 mixes I found on AOTM from 2004 by ScienceAppliance (IDs 67354-67356, if you're scoring at home). Volume I has a chill-loungey feel. Not explicitly "lounge" songs, mind you, but a mix of genres that have that feel. This will be played as the guests arrive and get eased into the faux-sophisticate atmosphere.
