Comment:

A mix for my friend K.C. who requested a mix for Christmas this year (instead of a bought gift, whuch usually ended up being CD's anyway.) Comprised of songs from artists we've seen together, bands I know she likes or songs I think she will like. Thanks to Orchid, Lo-Fi Jr, Rob C, Mahdishain, Sammy G and Ianhamyodel for various contributions. Title is from the Warren Zevon tune Jill Solbule covers here.

Fine fine mix. I think we're both in agreement that tk 19 is one of the finest songs of any genre of any time. The rest looks great too, particularly the Mountain Goats - Beatles stretch and the terrific closer...

you've really skimmed the cream off the milk for this one. in agreement w/ sammyg123 about the closer, and that's one of my favorite Magnetic Fields tunes too. bravo!

Yeah, those openers and closers are mottai nai (too good for me) especially for a Christmas gift. Although familiar to the intended, there is a lot of interesting odd stuff that gets eased into, rather....easily. A nice happy holiday it is.

Beautiful stuff from start to finish, with some killer segues, not least the Goats/Fields and Knack/Davis handoffs. Love the ending too - I'm sure it'll go down a treat.

Looks absolutely fantastic. Love the TMBG and Mountain Goats picks in particular, but all of this is great, really.

Great mix, Mark. You even got a Great Big Sea track that I don't mind!
