Comment:
A Christmas present mix for my wife whose musical tastes starts and ends with Carly Simon, hence the Ben Taylor bookends. She is a Saint for what she has had to put up with.Feedback:
your sentiments are spot on. your mix is right on target as usual. i used simple man on a mix that is almost finished. oscar was championing madeleine peyroux at thanksgiving.
"Love is a hurting thing" for your wife? ok but the mix looks fine anyway
Raising a glass o' vin rouge right now to long suffering other halves eh! Nice one Terry.
nice songs by Billie Holiday, Lena Horne. and Ms. Streisand is one of the few artists my mother has in her record collection (John Denver is another. cute, huh?) real sweet mix.
Wonderful. Great mix. Maybe this will help her explore beyond Carly.
Much Greatness here. Mr Noir, Pernice Brothers, Joe Cocker. Love the Sweet & Hoffs. Fine mix Terry..
This is sweet. Nothing like trying to align with the tastes of one you love to test the limits of your own cool. This makes it, baby! And your wife is a lucky woman.
Some cool stuff here.
Very nice. The Lena, Cocker, Chet, Frank and Billie are all favs.
Okay...now, let's see......I take these tracks and recompile on iTunes. Alright, then......aaaaaand, there! Thanks, I needed to make a mix for my girlfriend for Christmas! ;) Just kidding. But, I very well might take a few of these tracks to start a long overdue mix for my sweety.
As General Patton's glow in the dark tie said: Kill me in the dark, baby.
Keeping the "other half" happy is important. Keeping them happy while enjoying music is a labor of love. Cheers to your labors-, and your love.
Awww, bless. This is really lovely, and I'm sure she'll love this stuff. Like the Joe Cocker touch a lot.
This masterful mix will only enhance the marital bliss at Christmas experience. Aren't you the thoughtful one MR. H.
Interesting choices.Sounds like a man in love with his wife.I agree w/Jenergy.-and I agree with you-- love can really hurt...
How nice of you! This looks pretty good.
