Comment:

Another batch of high octane tunes to serve as a soundtrack to running, and I need all the inspiration I can get right now because it's hard to get motivated to go out at 5 or 6 in the morning when the temperature is hovering just below freezing.... About a few of the songs: Instant Camera, B-Town Four, and Pine Club are all from Louisville, with the latter being named after the GBV song (which is in turn named after a Dayton restaurant). If you don't know about The Deadlines, I recommend looking him up. Heartache is one of my favorite Violent Femmes songs and, until the ubiquitous i-tunes, et al., has been a bear to find because "The Blind Leading The Naked" is a really hard CD to find. I discovered Spizz WAAAYY back on the outstanding "Urgh! A Music War," but this is the studio version. Both Lucky Boys Confusion and The Darkness were introduced to me on trips to Timonium, MD, so I couldn't resist putting those songs alongside the P.I.C. track after I stumbled across that. I discovered the Your City Below and Yeah Yeah Yeahs tracks on recent mixes by lo-fi jr and sport!, respectively, so thanks. Mesh 92.

Ah, early morning runs: great for staying in shape & clearing the head. Nowadays, I'm dropping acid every morning...uh, Hyaluronic Acid, to keep the joints lubricated (33+ years of pounding the roads).
This looks nice. I utilized your Nipple Rub mix, just last week, via Nordic Track, which is my alternative for frigid air from mid-December through early March.

So let's be clear about this; you get out of bed around 5.30am in order to run. You claim that it's hard to motivate yourself at present, due to the seasonal coldness. I just wanted to write that down. I have nothing further to add on this matter -- I'm too shocked and bemused.Your mix, nonetheless, is full of warm goodness. It's probably a first class porridge substitute. I know which I prefer (and it's not the porridge). For God's sake, don't forget to close the door...

Maybe I should clarify....Yes, I have to set my alarm for 5:30 or 5:45 because the only time I can run is before the kids/wife get up and the insanity of the "Stay At Home Dad" daily life begins. However, when the bed is warm and the air outside is cold, the snooze button is MIGHTY tempting.

No idea why I missed this one Mesh. (Must've been the monthly hiatus from all things AotM.) What a great run of tunes to keep the feet in perpetual motion and the mind humming..!!!

Yeah, I missed this, too. You got some tracks in there that don't pop up often if at all. And they should have popped up.
