This is a birthday mix I made for my wife, whose birthday was on January 22. Since her birthday weekend co-incideded with the Martin Luther King weekend, the Stevie Wonder opener seemed appropriate. The rest of the tracks are songs and artists that are among her favourites. The Alabama 3 selection is taped from a Mark Radcliffe BBC Radio 2 session which includes a dedication from me to my wife. A long shot text message that paid off. The cover art and title are from her favourite painting by her favourote artist, Howard Hodgkin's After Dinner.
