Comment:
A 42 track mix made for a friend's 42nd birthday.
Feedback:
i'd turn forty two again for a mix like this.
I'd turn forty two tomorrow for a mix like.. wait, ok I probably wouldn't but it still kicks ass. Love the opening six on Side One. And kudos for the Crystals/Spiritualized and Steely Dan/SFA combo's...
Hey! I turned 42, today in fact. Look forward to getting this, too!!!!Disclaimer: by 42, I mean, I'm lying. I just want this mix.
Some clever pairings along the way.
Forty-two is the sexiest age until September, and this mix looks really fantastic.
perfect blend of girl group pop, blues & just about everything in between -- yep, this oughta do the trick...
joey -- woody allen was 44 years old when he made manhatten, but close! isaac davis, the character, however, was 42...
(sorry, i'm a major woody allen nerd...)

Thank you Joey and Anthony for pointing out the Woody Allen connection. I had no idea (haven't seen Manhatten in a very long time). It's amazing how often these sublinimal links crop up.
Yes, this is indeed a present to cherish. Great job! And Woody was correct about Louis and Potato Head Blues. I ran out and got that record after seeing Manhattan in the early 80s.
