Comment:

My incessant uploading jag recently has not deterred me from buying actual CD's. The 60 minutes compiled here are my latest acquisitions (I actually once owned #7 on Vinyl and have a third generation cassette of #1 somewhere but just got them on disc.)
BTW I refuse to apologize for the Norah Jones disc, she's writing her own stuff now and her material is catching up with her voice. Her new CD and Rickie Lee's are my favorite releases of '07 so far. (Plus, I hear ahe has a thing for crusty old sax players.) Title is from the Pernice Bro's.

Three cheers for another unabashed, out-of-the-closet appreciator of Norah Jones. Nice lead off with the PCO (I have plans to do a PCO single-artist mix in the not too distant future), and your Heap and Williams picks are fab, too.

I heard that Norah only has a thing for crusty old sax players who make excellent mixes so you definitely meet her (rather demanding) requirements.

Looks fantastic. Like the 2-5 run, and the 9-11 stretch.

Hooray for Kinky an' the Boys! Dude, a chick from work gave me a Norah Jones CD and I like her (to Rob's chagrin, if I ever get his romantic mix together, I'm using "Creepin' In" on it).

Can't get enough of those Shins & Pernice Brothers choices at the moment. Love the IH, Macca & Wooden Wand picks also..

I'm not sure what the Queen is getting at, for although I do not see what the big deal is about Norah Jones (she's an above-average lounge singer), she doesn't offend me or anything. Hooray for the Of Montreal (I really like that album a lot), Shins (I like it, but not as much as their other two), McCartney (duh), and Wooden Wand picks. I have yet to hear the new Rickie Lee...

Love the Pernice Bros track, wondering if Of Montreal will grow? But not sure at all about The Shins latest album! & I'm with sammy on the rest.
