Comment:
Part 2 of My Fantasy Mix: If I responded to the previous submission.Like the first one, this is sort of a compilation of many songs I've liked for at least 10 years between which a few newly discovered ones are sprinkled. Unlike my earlier submission, this one sort of narrates a fictional romantic getaway to the mountains (Seeing as I'm an outdoorsy kind of girl and like "it" under the stars.)I generally try not to repeat artists, but the repeats here fit too well to choose either/or. 1-6 kind of deal with the getting ready/leaving/road trip; 6-8 describe a little interlude and sunbathing before the hike; 9-11 describes a water break; 12-17 deal with "sleeping" under the moon; and finally 19-23 correspond to the next morning waking up to a dusting of pure mountain snow. Basically one of my versions of a perfect weekend.
Feedback:
Very nice mix. 7,14,&19 are my favorites. What a "cool" idea. I can almost smell a crisp mountain breeze.
very well constructed, friend. What? No coffee???
nice and considerably more subtle than part 1. One must understand however that most relationship mixes are coded messages between two people... i guess thats why the songs sometimes do not seem to make sense. Anywhow, this mix is really nice. So how far have you gotten on WWZ ?
Track 7 is actually called "Secondhand News" but it's a great choice.
Dead Heaven: I'm a little more than half-way through WWZ. It's actually really thought provoking...I had gotten it more for a bit of brain candy after a series of midterms, but surprisingly it's so much more than I expected.
