Comment:
This is a mix for a person I work with. I introduce her to AotM (mixer name Pollyanna) a few years ago. During the normal B.S. of everyday work, she is the one who always has a smile on her face. I on the other hand am the one walking around going "kill, kill, kill, die, die, die". This mix is a combination of songs she likes, songs I think she might like and songs to make her laugh.Feedback:
You're a negative guy? Wow. You honestly don't come off that way on this website. A fine mix, really, although I do so detest that James Blunt track...
yep, I reckon this will bring a smile to her face . . . . and make her think that you fancy her . . . . good job . . .
This is a great mix Terry. Love the 3-6 stretch. Secret Love has always been a fave of mine. Beatles, Louis ( obviously ) Elvis, Regina, Dolls, Ramones I dig also. Hell I even quite like both 18 & 19:) As I said.. Great Mix.
Your are the best! I can't stop singing Diddle-Bot and Coin-Operated Boy and I thought I came up with the phrase "Howling at the Moon". These are all my favorite songs and the ones that are new to me I adore. Thank you very much...- About that smile on my face? Little blue pills... and no I'm not sharing!
sorry terry, i'm with rob on james blunt -- but the rest of this looks so fantastic that it's too easy to overlook. lots of silly lovely fun stuff here -- i'm sure she'll appreciate it.
hehe James Blunt, I know what you're after
So who's James Blunt? Well, actually I've seen the name but I'm not sure I've heard him unless he's the soundtrack for some ubiquitous TV commercial. I really like the song preceding him. Lots of other good picks too.
4 and 21 are two of my all-time favs and the balance all make for a nice smile atarter (or sustainer.) Kudos.
Have to admit JB is a guilty pleasure o' mine (living in my house it's obligatory! Freja and 'H' have a lot to answer for!!!) You've set me off on an idea but if I make the mix I have in mind any kudos I've acquired on this site will go right out the window hee hee.
Good stuff here but where's the hemizen/pollyanna collabo?
"kill, kill, kill, die, die, die" at the workplace?And...thank you! That line just might finally get my creative juices going and put together a another mix. What a great MENACING theme.Oh yeah...awesome mix. Love the final duo!
Unusually Pollyanna-ish for a hemizen mix, but GOOD!
(& now for the re-mix: "Sometimes It Takes Balls to Make the World Go Away")

Sounds like you're a joy to work with hemizen! ;) Especially fond of the Bird & the Bee, Spektor and Vanity Fare. You're beautiful, it's true.
