Made for a friend who appreciates the cheesier aspects of 80's music. She loves to dance, therefore most of this is very upbeat. In general I prefer to stay away from huge hits, selecting 2nd tier singles from bigger artists or one-hit/two-hit wonders. Rather than feature songs that still get played in supermarkets across America I prefer to go for that "I haven't heard THAT song in a long time" vibe. For instance, Olivia Newton-John had plenty of charting single in the 80's beyond "Physical" but most of them are forgotten (perhaps for good reason).
