This week's grab-bag of what's in our heads and on our stereos. Thomas and Sam - I have included both of your submissions as both were rather good.So well done all - another successful collective effort, I think. A really varied one in terms of styles and genres, too - I've sequenced in a way I hope makes individual tracks stand out!Bubble bubble...
Feedback:
Fantastic job Ruth, this looks really great. Like the 11-12 pairing specially. And, honoured to be included!
Very cool. It's nice to see the name Thomas Mohr again.
was happy to take part in this, ruth -- glad such a capable member took hold of it. i'm going to listen to this in full ASAP
This looks interesting and for the most part new to me, looking forward to checking this out. Merci beaucoup Ruth.
great work, everyone - and thanks for sharing it. the opening 4 are really nice, as is the transition from Apples In Stereo to that great Shangri-Las tune. also loved the Ella track and was impressed that Radioslave could make Paul McCartney sound like he's 24 years old.
...uh, I mean like he's 24 years old and sounding so freshly 'now.' supposed to be a compliment, actually.
Good stuff. Thanks for lassoing this bunch of musical rowdies. If anyone wants to hear it, just click on "Mixxer," lol.
What a grab-bag fooker is this, indeed!
excellent - sorry I missed joining in . . . Salman's pick looks interesting . . .
You spread happiness, Ruth. A pleasure to be a part. Thanks!
Glad to have been a part of this Ruth. Loved Jakes choice (bear) and your Macca one. Loved the Ponys and Oingo Bongo also. Fine mix..
most of this I'm unfamiliar with - do like the Shangrilas though!
Thanks for the download, I'm really loving this. Some great, nicely placed instrumentals here.
I finally got around to listening to this a few days back, and wow, fantastic mix. That 11-13 stretch is brilliance! Great job, Ruth.
wow
