Comment:

An hour of music to match my mood tonight (Saturday). Staying in alone, bored and wanting to feel alive. Thanks to Lo-Fi Jr for the Shellac, Sean Lally for the Troggs (and his guitar work on track 9) and Rob C ffor turning me on to about half of this. Link for your perusal.

I think I know that Saturday night feeling... Really like the Buzzcocks pick (haven't heard it in a long time) and 15-17.

I know the feeling and I do believe there were times when I blared that same Sleater-Kinney song (as well as just about anything from One Beat and Dig Me Out) on those nights.

Quite superb indeed lovin' the 13-15 stretch, 5,8,11 & 18 tunes & my daughter says a big thank you for The Potato song which she sings at the top of her voice at least once a week since she heard it for the first time about 3 years ago.

Holy shit, Mark! For the most part, this looks like it could be one of my mixes, so of course I love it. I agree with you about Sean's guitar work on track 9. And you're welcome.

Hell yeah! Ah, you used the Potato Song, too - that's a real fond memory. Thanks! And what a Troggs tune, among other greats.

I used to know a girl who insisted on playing that PJ Harvey song each time she came round because it made her feel *just hmmmm*... Cool stuff, and better than watching tv!

Horton Heat will make you feel alive even on a Saturday night. Who needs radio? And may I join in the chorus of enthusiasm for the Potato Song, I'll never get tired of that one!
