Comment:

Okay, so out in the great Mid-midwest where I live, we've seen nothing but rain this summer. In fact, it has rained for 15 days straight, and a sixteenth, seventeenth, and eighteenth day is probably inevitable. So I decided to make a mix of my favorite songs that have something to do with weather... literally or metaphorically, you know when it rains outdoors or when we have those times in our lives that seem turbulent... like a storm or something. I left out others for consideration obvious ones like South Central Rain, Happy When It Rains (by both Garbage and JAMC, though preferrably the latter), less obvious ones like Darkest Night by the Sea and Cake, Cumulus by Imogen Heap (an instrumental track), It's Gonna Rain by the Violent Femmes, amongst others. click below to hear it all.
