Comment:

I've tried to follow up the first mix with something similar without being a carbon copy of the last one. The idea is simple. Any type of music that can be classified as having an electronic (aka - not acoustic or guitar) basis of composition and performance, and is a certain mood that could be classified as "woozy" is up for inclusion. The majority of the music here fits that description and although I admit that Broadcast are pushing it a bit, I still think they qualify purely on the basis that it fits the mood. So what is included stretches from Delia Derbyshire (60s electronic innovator, BBC Radiophonic Workshop member, and Dr Who theme tune creator) in her White Noise guise, to the current cream of the UK dubstep scene in both his Kode 9 and Burial guises. I wanted to do this without using any of the same musicians as the last time but I didn't manage it, I'm too much of Squarepusher fan not to have included one of his.

a-ha, thanks. listened at work today, and it almost cooled the place down. it's 94 degrees in Seattle and we're all just about dead. speaking of dead, just found out that Lady Bird Johnson has passed away. she was 94 years old, which is also the current temperature in Seattle, or did I already say that. loved the Burial, U.N.K.L.E. and LFO tracks the most.
