Comment:

I always have 4,5,6 mixes going on at the same time. This one has been hanging around for over a year and it is time to let it go. It started out as a mix of related artists such Buffalo Springfield to The Byrds to C,S,N&Y. Last I counted there were 80 some songs in the file so I chipped away and as I did some of relationship fell apart. However I think you can still find a lot of connections in this and what you can't make sense of intellectually, you can emotionally.

Wait a minute. Are you SURE that I didn't make this mix? Some of my favorite songs. I collect versions of Gentle on my mind (for better and worse). Complimenting this would like complimenting meself! But great work anyway!

it's a shame such a fantastic mix lay idle for so long - the neil young, tom waits, bob dylan & nilsson closer are tremendous

Actually, Tom & Sally are both wrong. 'Twas I who made this mix... and I'm very proud of the result :)

Some mixes are like a fine St. Emilion - better with age. & I can even cope with the Dylan track as proof!

I can relate to your opening comment. This looks to have a very cohesive feel to it. Very nice, indeed.
