Deeper The Rabbit Hole
Comment:
This is disk two in the collection. Feel free to explore or reacquaint yourselves with other offerings in the series. DISK 01: SWALLOW SLAYS THE DRAGON DISK 03: FLUOXETINE RABBITSanity and happiness are an impossible combination. - Mark Twain (1835-1910) [tune in/drop out]Feedback:
Curiouser and curiouser....
I love, Love, LOVE the Jimmy Ruffin track and Mark Twain,
Go further!!!
See, now I'm going to get fired for viewing this at work. Neh, it was worth it.
love the opener & nico track, & the mark twain quote especially
Cool! Parliament, Jimmy Ruffin, El Chicano. Ecclectic mix!
I like a lot of tracks here, for sure, and enjoy your Twain reference. But although it's inarguable to me that your cover girl is attractive, I wish you wouldn't consistently include such exploitationist (attention-grabbing?) cover art; it actually makes me less interested in the content of your mixes rather than more interested. I seem to be in a minority, though, and am a firm believer in all forms of speech as per our First Amendment, so do what you will.
Do what I will? Well, I will design a second cover and post that one for those who prefer a less exploitive variety. I would like to extend my sincerest apologies; the less-than-provocative foto that shows the woman's postirier (backside?) was never intended to offend.
Press [tune in/drop out] and give this a listen...and drink it in. I hope you all enjoy this series half as much as I do. Thanks in advance for your time.

Oh yes that makes it so much classier Karen. The innuendo and gutter level humour remains. Bravo.
Hot stuff.
Unfortunately I cannot download from Dubai (file shares are very often banned to reduce the risk of upsetting local sensibilities) so feel that I am definitely missing out . . . . and you've gotta love (almost) anything with Nico included . . . .
Gobi, I agree. I don't believe there's a Nico track I don't like/love.
Cool mix.
To paraphrase John Mayer, this mix is a wonderland. Makes me smile like the Cheshire cat. Is that Alice on the cover?
Moe, it looks to be the Mad March Hare. Pass the HP.
Awesome.
wow what an amazing mix
Well done Zoe! The tracks, the cover, the explanation are all WONDERFUL
Cheeky! Lame puns aside, this is an exceptional mix, ZoT. Loved how you fused cinema dialogue into it and the general vibe from the entire thing.
amazing. thankyou.
My dad had "To Know Him Is To Love Him" by The Teddy Bears as an old scratchy 7" when I was a kid. What a great song. love the Amy Winehouse version, and the dialog that follows... and also the Nico/Michael Trommer/Brian Eno bit. very nice, ZoT.
Congrats on posting an Excellent and also very well received mix. 23 comments but 88 downloads. Don't you just hate those who take take take! Love that Peaches track!
I love the mix. (Of course!) And I prefer the original cover...
