Comment:
Purple Legion: Successful Doors cover band from Germany.Tanya Tucker: In March 2006, Tucker releases a book called 100 Ways to Beat the Blues on Fireside, which includes tips on pulling yourself out of the dumps, from some of Tucker's good friends: Willie Nelson, Brenda Lee, Little Richard, and Burt Reynolds.
Red House Painters: Singer/songwriter Mark Kozelek used this group primarily as a vehicle for his very personal and emotional songs of despair, pain and suffering.
The Avett Brothers: On Friday, May 12, 2007, made their national television debut on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. They performed 'Paranoia in B Flat Major' from the album Emotionalism.

Feedback:
Lots to love about this.
Untouchably original. A delightful change of pace from the norm.
Full o' top tunes. I can live without a 'breakthrough' of my own though!
This looks friggin' outstanding! Looking forward to checking it out. Shake and bake!
Some really interesting ground covered here.
lots of great ground covered here - love tracks 2, 7, 8, 14 & 23 especially
Another great one. That 10-16 run is a bit special. And 2 clips from very funny films, although there'll be no frog eating from me this time :)
Loving the whole crazy series, as would have this half-cracked poetess.
looks fun . . . Red House Painters are getting airplay in the Gobi house at the moment (a new discovery for me).
'I wet my bed 'til I was 19, there's no shame in that !'what is the world coming to ?
thanks for the link, zoE! i'm anxious to hear this monumental disc!
Beats a padded cell...
super. was able to breakthrough with this one. really liked Goldfrapp, then the whole 11-14 bit. and that great Red House Painters track made me get out my old blue guitar and strum it, if you know what I mean.
