09/03/07 What's In My Head
Comment:
In this edition of What's In My Head, I feature my favorite Traffic song with the killer opening line "Like a hurricane around your heart when earth and sky are torn apart", a track that has two daughters of Ravi Shankar on it and two '60's icons with releases from the 21st Century. We also find out who put the Zen in hemizen, a couple of the best songs so far in 2007 (Lay Your Head Down and Clever Girls Like Clever Boys Much More Than Clever Boys Like Clever Girls, and old standbys, Lucinda Williams and Steve Earle.Feedback:
Love the opener and the rest of this cranial feast is delicious too.

Diggin the new Caribou, just heard the Shankar / Jones track on NPR and loved it and the Cale, Griffin, Williams and Earle are all ringers. Heads in a good place these days.
You've a good head hemizen, always have. My head only knows 5-6 of these....constant catch-up.
Intriguing...
Got your mail at the weekend Terry, thanks very much, the mix is a belter as is this I'm sure. That's a lovely 9-14 stretch..
Great listen. Love that 9-13 ladies only stretch!
This is very nice. I suggest you check out that Pelle Carlberg album, if you haven't done so already. I think it's a gem! :)
