Comment:

A Cliff's Notes version of the 80's, as seen through the eyes of an aging beach trash 60's hippie. Made for my son and daughter-both born in the 80's.

I know of most of these bands but not a single song. Looks good though so I'm gonna try to track these down! (I was an 80's kid / 90's teen)

Nice one, Terry. I danced to a few of these in my waning days of college...back in the days when I could still cut a rug.

This looks like a good tutorial for me. As a teen of the 80s, I was too busy running endless loops of hwy 61 and the white album to pay attention to most of these.

Left of the dial but right on track Terry. Yup you know I hated the 80's for the depth of shite that spewed forth into my earholes. This mix however, proves that all was not not so and there were at least 22 top tunes from said era. That said thank f*** the 80's are over cos there has never been a better time for music as far as I'm concerned!

Excellent! The kids are going to love it (I hope). First two songs could be my favorites from the decade -- at least in the top five anyway.

You damn dirty hippie!! Ha ha... I was born in the late 70's and I could use this as a refresher of what I was too young to appreciate. What I know - I like - and knowing you it's damn good!

Fun stuff. Truly love those tracks from 7-11, as well as the Gun Club stretch to the end.

DL'd this ages ago and just now gave it a listen - these are the highlights of the 80s. Several undeniable favorites and some excellent new (to me) discoveries from Hoodoo Gurus and Rain Parade. You have indeed captured the moment. Great mixin', Ter.
