Comment:

When you like as many songs as I do it's hard to pick a top 1,000 let alone 90 minute's worth. These are 22 (of about 30) that I have played the most on my computer since I started collecting MP3's back in 2000. Yes, there's some songs newer than that in this set but believe me, they too have had a flogging!

Thanks to Channel 10's "Video Hits" show for playing Sky's "Toccata" and Barry Ryan's "Eloise" (even with very dirty and scratched film). Usually that show only plays top 40 stuff, but every now and then they suprise you! If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have known those two songs.

"Existential Blues" taken from the Dr. Demento anniversary record... I think. My sister downloaded it. Speaking of her,
thanks to my late sister for downloading every bootleg of Melissa Etheridge she could find. I'm not sure when this performance of Rod Stewart's "Maggie May" is from but I love it! If you can't find it, substitute it with Rod's version as I'd usually play both together.

Thanks to "PEZ" for helping me to expand my musical horizons just when I thought I'd heard it all - even all the old stuff - silly me!

And, finally, make sure you play this set loud! Keep those mixes coming - if it wasn't for this site and it's users I'd have never bothered compiling my most played songs! Now I have, I wonder why I haven't done so sooner.... When I was a kid/teen, I made great mixtapes, literally from age 8 onwards. What went wrong? Easy: I tried making mixes for everybody but me. Now I've remembered me I'll be on here a lot more..........P.S. I turned 29 today
