***ATTENTION***Howdy, my name is Jordan,
and this will be my AotM cherry-poppin' mix.
(be gentle with me, ladies and gents)
So, my ex-first love shipped up to Boston about a month ago to begin her Freshman year at BU. I was supposed to, and had planned on, meeting up with her before she left, but due to a few things that came up on my end I wasn't able to. I thought a good mix could be my saving grace. After about two weeks homework, deliberation, and mad-scientesque scrutiny, this was what I was able to come up with. Roughly a 50 min ode to the home of some of the greatest minds in our fine country's history. The fathers of past (Franklin & Morse) and present (Graham Bell) forms of communication. Literary juggernauts like Emerson, Kerouac, Plath, and Poe. And, of course... who in their right mind could forget these musical visionaries. The true "Bosstown Soundsmen", Jonathan Richman, David Byrne, Ric Ocasek, The Pixies, and Leonard Nimoy. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the sounds of Beantown.
