Comment:
I have finally managed to convince everybody I know that record tokens are all I really want in the way of birthday presents. The core of this mix is made from records purchased with record tokens recieved on my last birthday. Note for non UK residents:The title refers to a long standing series of UK compilations of recent hits that go by the name Now That's What I Call Music and a catch phrase (Now Then, Now Then) used by Jimmy Saville, an English DJ/TV personality whose picture is on the sleeve.

Feedback:
hey, welcome back XYZ. I don't know what "record tokens" are, but now I want some for my birthday too! nice Smiths, Good Bad & the Queen, Tom Waits picks; wish I knew lots of these others here.
a VERY VERY welcome return, & a very triumphant way to do so. this is tremendous - the smiths, tom waits, pink floyd, arctic monkeys & rufus wainwright tracks are my personal favorites. i'd actually love to hear this, if you get a chance to throw a link up?
Man, so much is going on in this. Both sides are totally off the map. Nice return.
This. Is. Excellent!
Wow, I love the whole feel of this, and yeah, any chance of a link?
Unbelievable stuff. Love the Nick Lowe - Bees stretch on Side One and the lovely Waits - Papercuts bit of Side Two. Great, great mix..
devil got my woman is such an amazing song
well this is all over the shop in a great way . . . favourites this week would be the opener, the band, Dr John and Seasick Steve, Mitch, the Sonics, John Cale and Kevin Ayers (did I say John Cale !?)
