It's all about Bob(s). Inspired by the Drive-By Truckers' tune (LOVE their new disc!) Thanks to Hemizen for Track 7 and RetroJoe for the closer. Bob-O-Link

All is Bob here!
All your Bob are belong to us.
Different Bob story. When I was in college, there was this drinking game based on the Bob Newhart Show. Whenever any of the cast came in to Newhart's appartment and said "Hi, Bob," you had to chug from the bottle.
Anyway, this is one of the funniest movies ever. I've seen it a few times. Thanks for the memories, and the link.

looks neat, mark - the dylan & bowie are real favorites of mine
bobby good
good one mark. mixing bob songs with bob artists was inspired.
some great stuff here . . . great memories in some cases . . . a propos of nothing, there is a village very near me called 'Bobbing Head' which makes me laugh everytime I drive past . . .
I've always wondered about Bob and now I know...Nice theme and execution. Thanks for the props.
Cool! I never gave that Weird Al track proper credit until I listened to it again recently. Had never realized every line is a palindrome until a friend pointed that out...
Light hearted frivolity at its finest here.
Bob
Bobbity goodness. Love the Truckers!!! And, the inclusion of that Outkast songs if both clever and righteous.
I can see playing this in the car, at high speeds, while rapidly changing in & out of lanes...
...bob & weave! A robust & robert mix idea!

I think John Wayne Bobbitt would appreciate this as much as I.
J.R. "Bob" Dobbs approved.
Top Bob.
Thanks for the link Mark, this will have me bobbing my head in delight. I must say, the inclusion of track 4 is a stroke of genius.
By the way, my cat's name is Bob, she was named after this lovely looking gentleman...

Very clever. A refreshing and entertaining mix, showing your deep knowledge of different musical genres. My Bob story: Back in the '70s/early '80s Zappa's Bobby Brown was a hit in Switzerland where I grew up. The radio played the song often, and American tourists would call in to the station to complain. With my limited understanding of English I couldn't understand what the song was about, and I guess neither could the radio DJs.
I definitely give you a nod for knowing tons o' genres and thoroughly respect that. :-)
Bob's yer fathers's brother. Shame about Monsieur Zimmerman but I see to be the only fucker round these parts who thinks the man's a talentless twat who couldn't sing a tune if his life depended upon it.
What, no Bobby Goldsboro?
What a fun mix! I have a few Bob songs I could pass along to add to the madness...
I agree with buglady, this is totally fun. Bob is such a funny name if you think about it. I've been pondering it for the past 5 minutes and yes, it's quite funny.
Bob does the job!
This is the kind of off-beat on-target concept I really dig, very enjoyable execution too.
I'm going to send you "my friend Bob" by ed's redeeming qualities on the offchance you don't have it already, it would fit in very nicely in here . . .

So Cliff gripes about the Dylan and not the Rascal Flatts? Well-done, though, Mark, you can't please everyone.
