05/17/08 What's In My Head
Comment:
R.I.P. Danny Federici the E Street Band will not be the same without you.Feedback:
Kathleen Edwards, John Hiatt, and, of course, Bruce, stand out.
9 & 12 are interesting choices-. Bruce and John Hiatt are always good but "Dream Catch Me" is my favorite.
quite a few songs here that have been in my head lately - i love this
Busy head. chill.
I think I'd like to be a fan of the Fast Camels - they've got a great name. Nice 7/8 run. R.I.P. Danny F indeed..
Nice tribute, love to see John Hiatt & Nils, and of course that Bruce tune.
And I didn't read Tom's comment till after I posted mine, no plagarism, eh?
Very tasty.
I'm with Sammy re the Fast Camels. Like the name Crystal Stilts too. I need to investigate. The only blemish imo is Newton Faulkner, another of those earnest songwriters who annoy me intensely, just don't get me started on Ray LaMontagne. But what do I know?
Don't know that Faulkner, only Jason, and he's pretty good. Back to the mix, looks like some good picks. Haven't heard "The Chief" in many a moon.
Looks good. I haven't heard a Nils Lofgren (or lof-Grin, ha, ha) song in ages.
Nice! Hooray for Hayes Carll and the Dirtbombs...
Lot of nice picks here.
Fast Camels now yer smokin' Terry.
This totally got me through this work day. I thank you, sincerely.
I really enjoyed this one, Terry. Loved the opener and the 7-8 combo.
I think I'm really starting to dig Bat For Lashes, and track one is one of the reasons. Also really liked Duchess Says on this one. nice set!
Thought I'd commented on this one. Bummer about Danny. I really love that closer.
