Clever concept, and fun song sel*ction (nods to Sweet, Richman, Kinks, Neil, and S&G). The Sufjan & Magnetic Fields songs would've been great as well (I had no clue who Ferdinand was before hearing that song, but such a great song).
You could have put Woody's version of the Dylan track and done Joey, Hurricane, Lenny Bruce, Song to Woody, etc. from Bob..
I would like to hear the Rich O'Toole and while the Neil song is great Neil, it is terrible history.
A history (MA in world history) and music lover can definitely appreciate this mix. There are some nice pairings throughout.
I love the bio songs and have been compiling a bunch for a mix on this very same theme. Happily, only a couple are on this mix. Really nice work.
