Comment:

pretty songs for my pretty boy. a tape i made out of boredom for the boy that dries my tears and sleeps next to me when we are lucky enough to be together. the second side got a little too sentimental ... i mean ending with "a letter to elise." but i wish i could make his eyes set fire the way they do. i am too far away. but nineteen days and i get to jump into his arms and sing love cats with him in the mornings and share tea and sweat in his little un-airconditioned bedroom. the first song was just things that the moment took me to. and the second side is also the same. but starting out with "i want you." i knew i was in for a horrid tape. he will smile at it at least.

ten minutes after making this tape i am ashamed of it. he will never hear it. i promise that. i mean "life as expected" who am i kidding? and everything else. but i do adore most of these songs. i am taping over and making it horrendously cheesy if it is going to be midway ... it's gotta be all the way.
