second part of the trade. In place of liner notes: Not a definitive mix by any means (because he made a great many albums that I don't have as of now), but a good introduction to the great Mr. Cave and his jolly band. More of the older, rockin' stuff than the newer, more blues-y ballads. The albums are also listed here for your enjoyment (can you guess what my current favorite is?). The first three are live --'From Her to Eternity' is kind of a strange way to start a mix, but that was my first exposure to Nick, in the Wim Wenders film 'Wings of Desire.' Great film, great song (with the best beginning). 'From Her to Eternity' is also a great album, his first with the Bad Seeds I believe and very art-punk. And the Murder Ballads are just disturbing. I won't say 'happy listening', but enjoy!
