Comment:

This was something i did for the Livejournal Mixtape Community a couple of weeks ago. The deal was i had to tell a story from beginning to end, and the person i made the tape for has to be able to tell what the story is about just listening to the songs. I don't know how successful i was on that part of the project, so i'll fill you in.

The mix roughly parallels the last track on the tape, with a lot of embellishment. It's the world's oldest story: A couple falls in love, but this time one is corporeal and the other isn't. Plus there's also a lot of uncredited sound effects like thunderstorms, music boxes, and incidental music from sceeeery movies in there to boot.

This was my first go at a story tape, and while it was hard as hell, it was so much fun thinking of what story to tell. Trading mixes with friends is one of life's finer pleasures, isn't it?
