Comment:

for mtthw, very late. the cover image is a photograph i took in a nearby forest - very dark, with tall trees and sunlight just breaking through the middle. i feel claustrophobic and awkward when i look at it, which was sort of the goal with this mix - not to make people uncomfortable, but to create a sense of unease. in some cases, the songs themselves seem happy, but in context, something feels wrong. i like the result, but maybe i'm projecting too much onto it to feel better about taking forever to produce a mix.
