for daniel, and made using only the stuff he didn't have. the strict-but-subjective criterion for selection was, "ooh, listen to this, it's really neat". that rules out very few songs, unfortunately.

i put together an r.e.m.-themed zine in 24 hours recently, and listening to them over and over made me change my mind about some songs I'd dismissed and overlooked. it remains to be seen whether this lasts, but i really enjoyed moving away from the rockier staples for a change. one week later, the only thing i'd do differently is buy a replacement copy of green so that 'hairshirt' could have gone on side b. oh well.

the title's from 'feeling gravitys pull', and, yes, i will insist on being a pedantic, nerdy fangirl about punctuation.
