For those not old enough to remember when The Man could still kick it, this killer mix gleans some deep purple concord jams from P's first 4 albums (before 1999 came to town). Don't waste your money on the Symbol/post-Symbol CDs, go back to the original Gospels.Feedback:
Damn, sometimes I forget just how awesome the man was before the big hits. I'm a big fan of the middle era myself (1999, Purple Rain, Around the World, Sign o' the Times), but he sure could bring it well before that. I think I'll have to cook this mix up tonight!
