made as a very last second stocking stuffer for the same friend who got the "weird intersection" mix. this person is a bit hard to make mixes for because she doesn't care too much about music - if left to her own devices, i think she'd be happy listening to revolver and her jackson five albums for the rest of her life. so while "weird intersection" was to cover stuff she had heard while we were together, this mix was kinda meant to drop some things on her that would be new and hopefully acceptable to her fondness for pop shite. we put it on while opening presents and she seemed to be into it, which was good. lots of aislers set because she didn't know about them and yet likes henry's dress quite a bit. thanks to the rob conroy for the love track, taken from his fantastic single artist comp.
