This title has several meanings. First - it is taken from the lyrics of a Hole song. Second - the tape is all female artists. Third - I made this mix as a birthday present for my friend (hence cake in the title). I am a big fan of female artists - they are the staple of my music collection. I thought this was a sampling of a few of the greatest female artists, but take note: not all of the great ones are included. You'll notice the absence of women like Ella Fitzgerald and Joni Mitchell. There's only so much greatness one can fit on a 90 min. tape :)
