See volume 1 for the backstory on this set. This isn't my favorite of the 3 volumes (that honor goes to the first), but there are some killers on here. To wit, Bowie & Bowie's "Looking for Lester," a buried track on a mediocre-at-best David Bowie album ('93's much-maligned 'Black Tie White Noise') which showcases David's sax playing, which is pretty damned great. And "Jazz Thing," of course, is an all-time classic; I greatly prefer it over Stetsasonic's "Talkin' All The Jazz," credited by most as having started the whole jazz/hip-hop crossover thing.
