These are songs which I really love, but they leave me feeling sad for some reason. Still, I wouldn't be without them for the world, and I think they fit really well together. They are all from before 1971, as far as I'm aware. My favourite period in music. I hope they make you all sad and happy, in that melancholy way. The title is from the Phil Ochs track

Yeah. Nice mix alright. Pardon the pedantry, but I think "Blind Willie Mctell" is actually from somewhere in the 80s. Who the fuck cares though? It obviously fits, and you can make a convincing case for it being a throwback to pre-71 dylan anyway. Oh how I ramble when I'm procrastinating.
