Every year around Xmas, I make my sister a tape of the best stuff I bumped into that year. I used to try to influence her, introduce her to new stuff. Now I really pander to her tastes, and try to make her a CD that I think she will listen to until the next year.

i don't necessarily like everything that's in the mix, but i do like your idea. i tried doing that with my sister; i'm 22 and she's 14, and i just wanted to give her an idea of what music makes me happy. i hope it influences her a little bit! :)
