Comment:

made for a friend who works at a moderately upscale clothing store that apparently has stodgey music playing all the time. she gave me a list of 15 songs she wanted put together, leaving me ample room to create decent transitions and round things out a bit. i have to say that, for what it is, it was a lot of fun to make. it gave me an opportunity to find out more about her musical tastes and forced me to work with stuff i'd normally turn my nose up at. a little pop cheese is a healthy part of a balanced diet, i guess. two days later, she threw down a version of "vogue" at the local karaoke joint that had people bouncing off the walls. the drag queen host/ess was like, "that bitch is stealing my spotlight!" but that's another story entirely...

Great mix Mr. Tea. I'm guessing your contributions were songs 4, 5, 6, 10, 13, 18 and 19. How close am I? Should I be entering those numbers in Lotto?

okay then, here's the breakdown of my contribution (drum roll please):
3 9 10 12 13 16 18
the only song that didn't come from her record collection is track 18. some stuff came from another mix that i made for her, which explains why you would think i picked tracks 6 and 19. just for the record, i had to hold back some serious nausea when deciding to include moby, who i feel is horribly overhyped.
