"Burn Baby Burn" Summer CD Exchange 2002 -- My girlfriend, sister & brother-in-law and parents had just returned from a trip to Hawaii when I saw the "Burn Baby Burn!" CD exchange web site.
I was planning on burning a CD of the most popular songs we heard on hawaiian radio for the others in my family anyhow but realised this idea would also make a good summer mix for the exchange as well.
The songs on this CD range from the "Hawaii" classics (Blue Hawaii-era Elvis, Don Ho) to the modern pop and reggae songs that are thriving on local radio.
Because i didn't purchase any CD's while in Hawaii (damn U.S. exchange rate!), all of these songs are recorded from MP3. If any of them appeal to you, I would encourage you to seek out the original CD's as I plan to do myself as budget allows!
