Comment:

these are not one hit wonders, they just hit the big time and then either you didn't hear from them again, or they broke up, or their next album sucked and everyone stopped listening to them or they just sucked to begin with... so don't start yelling at me if you see your favorite band on here because most of these are from cds i own and refuse to sell... i love these bands, they just ain't famous no more and remember not famous does not equal not good... later skaters

I don't know man...I do believe that Stevie Wonder was cool for a heck of a lot longer than 5 minutes, Pearl Jam & Oasis are still rockin', the Flaming Lips have put out TONS of great stuff since that novelty song was a hit, MBV never did a follow up to Loveless, sop they really don't qualify, and like or hate Michael Jackson he's been popular for a heck of a lot more than 5 minutes. Do like the Warrant cover though.

ya i know, i threw stevie in there due to the high fidelity comment that jack black made about is right to judge an artist for their latter day sins, i love stevie's old shit but a lot of the new stuff is tripe. pearl jam is my favorite band so i'm not knocking them or oasis just the fickleness of most listeners. same goes for the flaming lips (another personal favorite)... i just made this cd for a friend who's way too into whatever everyone else thinks is cool, i on the other hand still love all of this stuff... yes even the new kids... i'm a child of the late eighties what can i say... thanks for reading though and i took a look at some of your mixes too, exetremely good shit... later skater
