Comment:

I want to move on to pastures new, musically speaking, so this will be my last "retro" mix for a wee while. It's not strictly retro, because there's a few "oldies" and a couple of strange choices in here. I suppose it wouldn't be one of my mixes if that wasn't the case! I made this a couple of days ago, and it seems to fit well together. my next few mixes may prove surprising. I hope you all dig this anyway.

Looks fabulous Gerry. Hope it won't be your last retro mix. Your Old Mac II mix has finally made it to the post office BTW.

Fuck yes!!! I second Sean's remarks on the mighty Mummies (he introduced me to them, after all) and to the rest of this mix! Okay, Gerry, you might as well assume that I want a copy of every mix that you post... so hold off for a bit then send a few at a time. :-)

Hey Gerry. I just discovered Baby Lemonade (the 80s Scottish band, not the recent LA power pop band), but I've only heard one song (something about goldfish). Do you have their one and only album? If you do, I'd love to get a copy of it! I'll be your best friend (as well as trade you something for it)

Woops! It appears after a little research that that was the LA pop band on your mix (I like them too!) Sorry to bother you. Are you familiar with the Scottish version? Very much like fellow Scots the Shop Assistants, who I adore.
