Comment:

I was trying to imagine that this is the kind of stuff which would have influenced my hero, Bob Dylan, when he was making one of his trips across the US, learning the tricks of the trade. These are some of the artists which he may have seen, or heard on local radio stations. A couple of these artist are post-Dylan, or at least contemporaries, but hopefully you get the picture. I just love this sort of music and there is a veritable goldmine out there to explore. The title was his reply when asked what constitutes folk music. He said, "It's all folk music, I never heard no cows sing 'em". Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this as much as I enjoyed mixing it. I plan a couple more volumes in the same vein. Hank will get his own cd soon enough!

Really fine work Gerry. If Dylan was an AOTM contributor, I'm sure he'd agree!

Ahh... here's the Stanley. Forget what I said in my feedback to volume 2 about needing a little Ralph. This is GREAT, as is the second volume. Looks like you're well on your way to creating your own Anthology. I'm sure Bob would approve.
