Comment:

Vol 2 of my "Roots of Bob Dylan" type thing. A companion to "never heard no cows sing 'em". More of the same really. Bob's roots lay in all the various forms of American roots music. Folk, country, bluegrass, novelty, popular and I think especially blues, which is why they feature so heavily here. I would love to know which of these tracks he actually likes. Maybe I should send him a copy :-). In the meantime, I'll content myself with the thought and hope that my friends on AOTM make suitable substitutes, and hopefully you all will enjoy my mix until Bob comes calling for tea and passes comment!

Great concept, wonderful execution. I like the Pink Anderson pick (don't know about Bob), you don't see his songs around often. How 'bout some Ralph Stanley on the next volume?

Gerry, you're batting a thousand these days! These volumes are awesome. Let me know when you're up for another round of trades. Glad to see Gary Davis represented here. I took a guitar lesson (my only one ever) from a guy who learned from him.

These volumes are meaner than the woman who poisoned Robert Johnson ;-). You maked wicked blues mixes.
