This week my doll-collecting fiance and I will be attending the 2002 National Barbie Convention in Denver, Colorado. I have never been more scared in all my life. Anyway, I made eight copies of this mix to be used as "table gifts" for fellow conventioneers, who are probably more into dolls than music, which explains the rather safe selections. The theme of this year's event is Mod, the 1967 to 1972 era of wild Barbie clothing, so I tried to pick stuff that was popular at that time. That's why I didn't include Aqua's "Barbie Girl" or anything by Gangsta Bitch Barbie. The first person who can tell me the names of all the dolls who posed for the cover wins a copy of this.

Geesh! Fantabulous Mix! As for the dolls' names...gotta go w/Barbie for all of 'em! Well, it's worth a shot. Easier than calling up my friend Lauren and praying SHE knows! Have fun at the convention.

Ion, the Barbie convention sounds more enjoyable than the Amercian Society of Clinical Oncology convention I recently attended with my wife in conjunction with her job. I couldn't make up a mix for that event.If you are in the bio-pharm industy, perhaps you should forward your CV here.. I think I see the "I Slept with Brian Jones Barbie" in that pic. Cool Sunshine Pop mix.

You're getting close Lauren. Barbie and Kelly are correct, but the other two are wrong (this according to my fiance). Here's a hint: the middle doll in back and the brunette next to her have the same name. Keep trying!
