Great mix Gerry.., and the reasons for generating it. (Too bad "The Call-Up" by the Clash wouldn't fit here...that line: "There is a rose that I wanna' live for, although God knows knows I may not have met her.." haunted me, for a long, long time.)

a noble and honorable outing. sorry about adding that "l" to your name, it was a horrible accident. i was probably too busy thinking about the atrocities in this world. well, that sounds insincere, but actually I think about the bad things quite a lot...it's too bad the grit of a few isn't managing to save the world now.

used to be you could sit on your priest's knee, or go to confessional for an emotive dump; now even that's tarnished.
I forgot to mention where the title comes from. I reread a quite brilliant book about eccentrics recently, and it mentioned a black jamaican/English guy who turned up at any job interview wearing Top Hat, White Tie and tails! He was told "If everyone behaved like you the world would go to the dogs". He replied with the title to this mix.
